Mountain Springs Swim Club
Mountain Springs Swim Club celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2014 by unveiling a brand-new 225,000 gallon pool with a state-of-the-art saltwater chlorination system. The pool is located in the Blossomwood community between Hermitage Park and the Land Trust of North Alabama's historic and scenic Three Caves site. Mountain Springs offers a restful oasis for swimmers and sunbathers in a beautiful natural setting.
Founded in 1963, Mountain Springs Swim Club is a non-profit organization formed to enhance and support the Huntsville community by providing a place for safe, supervised family fun and swimming instruction. Current pool membership is comprised of approximately 200 families. |
Mountain Springs Swim Club is proud to be the home of the Stingrays swim team. The Stingrays compete in the B league of Huntsville's Rocket City Swim League (RCSL). In 2013, the Stingrays were 2013 B league champions, and 7th place overall in the RCSL. Swim team representatives are Beth Wilder and Kristen Tumminello.
